1. News
Welcome to the latest issue of the Homeworking Ideas newsletter, the monthly publication which gives you all the latest
news from the UK on ways of earning money from home.
1on40 update
Further to last month's recommendation regarding 1on40 and their claim of being able to get you number 1 positions on top search engines, they are now beginning to produce a steady stream of success with over 50 web site owners reaching the number one result for 5 keywords on Google, Yahoo and 100's of other search engines every day. The company behind the software have also turned down a multi million buyout offer from one of the top search engines. If you haven't already given them a try, you can find out more from

Get Paid To Search
As you may be aware, most search engines sell advertising resulting in sponsored search results appearing at the top or side of any searches you make.
MySearchFunds.com have partnered with Ask.com who pass on a portion of this advertising revenue to them when a search is made through one of their search boxes. By replacing your browser's search box with one of these search box you can earn money as you search.
Whenever you use the search box you earn 50% of any advertising revenue generated. You can earn more if you tell your friends and they also download and use the search box. You'll also earn a little extra on 2 further levels of referrals. Find out more at

New Online Marketplace
If you've tried promoting any online products, either your own or those of other people, you've almost certainly come across Clickbank with its marketplace of over 10000 products/services on offer. It's a brilliant service but can be a victim of its own success as the top products are promoted by so many top marketers and those with huge "pay per click" budgets, making it hard for anyone else to get a look in. In addition, there is no direct contact between the seller and the affiliate, meaning there is no easy way for buyers to communicate relevant news, promotions etc.
This month sees the launch of a real alternative in the form of Click2Sell. Unlike Clickbank, Click2Sell permits the sale of physical products (as well as digital goods and subscriptions) in a wide choice of currencies and doesn't charge its vendors a set-up fee. Better still, managers can track and control affiliate activities - meaning that they can actually communicate with their affiliates. At the time of writing Click2Sell listed 383 products, but is increasing steadily as the marketplace becomes more popular with merchants and affiliate marketers.
You can find out more, including details of the products currently on offer at http://www.homeworkinguk.com/click2.htm
2. Featured Promotional Tool
A Viable Pay Per Click Alternative
If you're looking to get traffic to a website you've probably considered Pay-Per-Click advertising but the prices in many sectors make it impractical. To get a top position in AdWords for most keywords related to internet marketing, for example, can cost you anywhere from $3 to $23 per click and such sectors as the health industry and real estate are even worse.
RealTrafficExchange have created an alternative, in 17 categories, which is proving to be very effective and is free.
RealTrafficExchange is a high quality traffic exchange network, that works much like AdWords and AdSense. You simply sign up, add sites into the network, which are reviewed for quality and content, and add the provided code onto those sites.
When your visitors click on the targeted, AdSense-like ads shown on your pages, you earn credits which you spend on your own ads which get shown on targeted pages relating to your ads.
The ads that appear on your pages are targeted to your page content. If no ads are found matching your page content, then ads from the same category are displayed. In like manner, your ads are displayed on pages matching the content and/or category of your ad. These ad blocks are very similar to Google Ads and therefore should not be used on any page where you have already placed Google ads.
The 17 categories currently available are:
- Arts
- Business/Financial/Employment
- Computers/Internet/Electronics
- Health/Medicine/Beauty
- Home/Family/Food/Garden
- Recreation/Sports
- Kids/Games
- Shopping
- Travel/Real Estate
- Marketing/Online Business
- Portals/Articles/Miscellaneous
- Automotive
- Animals/Pets
- Society
- Self Help/Inspirational
- Music/Dance
- Education/Language
To ensure a quality network, they don't accept every kind of site into the network. Your sites must be professional
in quality and appearance, family-friendly (no adult, gambling, warez, hate, etc.) and must not be 'under construction'
sites. If you'd like to submit a site for approval or just find out more about the exchange,

3. Featured Business Resource
Site Content Provision
Unless you have a very successful website, making money online is often a numbers game, with dozens of sites each producing a small income. Of course it simply isn't possible to be an expert in hundreds of different fields so you'll need to find an alternative source for your content.
This month I've come across two alternative ways of obtaining quality content at a reasonable price.
Instant Article Wizard
Instant Article Wizard is an incredible piece of software that enables you to create high quality articles on virtually any subject in just minutes, and in a range of Western European languages. My first impression was that this would churn out a poor quality stilted article that no-one would gain any benefit from, but the site quickly dispels this by showing 5 typical articles that Instant Article Wizard created which were all labeled as Expert quality by a human editor, took 15 minutes or less to write and are all about a subject the author previously knew nothing about.
Of course if you don't want to put these articles on your own websites you could easily use this software to write articles for other webmasters on any topic, for a healthy fee.
Read the articles and find out more at http://www.homeworkinguk.com/wizard.htm As usual there is a no strings 60 day refund policy.
Private Label Rights
Alternatively, if you've prefer somebody to write a series of articles for you, Private Label Rights are a cost effective alternative. Unfortunately, many are poor quality or are sold to so many people as to be virtually worthless.
PLRPro membership is in a class of its own, limiting their membership to 200 people per group (they now have 5 groups) with each group getting a totally unique set of 440 articles. However, the articles themselves are only a fraction of what membership provides. PLRPro membership not only contains 440 articles across 11 niches - 40 articles in each niche (This month for example the topics I received included Forex trading, gardening, debt management and genealogy) but also:
- Full keyword research in each niche
- Lists of suitable affiliate programs for each niche
- Header Graphics for each niche
- 5 Website Templates each month
- The articles are provided in 8 additional languages - French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian,Swedish, Russian and Dutch
- 50 PR4 sites that you can get links from to get your sites indexed and crawled
Together with other software/guides/training that they have put together, including:
- Site Builder
- Automatic Wordpress Installer
- Automatic Wordpress Uploader
- VRE Handbook
- SEO Training
- PPC Training
For a limited period they are offering you the chance to you get to test drive the service for 14 days for just $1.

4. Featured Freebies
Free Online Lotto
One of my favourite free sites is Kingolotto. You get 10 free lotto tickets every day, and can earn a dream holiday or new car worth up to £10,000 for matching 6 numbers, £30 gift vouchers for matching 5 or "kingopoints" for matching 1-4 numbers, exchangeable for a range of gifts. I've been playing for a few months and am averaging about 100 points a day, enough for a small prize every month or bigger prizes every few months. I've received several blockbuster DVDs, always within a few days of making a claim. There are also fortnightly draws for all active members.
